If you choose one of the choices of natural cedar finish, you will receive a piece of furniture that has been treated with PENOFIN Brazilian rosewood oil finish. We apply this by hand, before the piece is assembled to make sure all parts are completely covered. This oil absorbs into the wood, so there is no peeling, no need to sand if you want to reapply in the future. This finish provides beautiful protection against UV rays. We recommend reapplying every year of two. This is a very easy process, just make sure your furniture is clean and dry, then rub on oil. No sanding needed.

John built an extended outdoor cedar couch for out deck. We wanted something “strong” that would stand-up to the Wyoming wind, but we also wanted to be able to move it around the deck. So, he created the L-shaped piece that can be separated into two parts. It was exactly what we wanted and we can’t be more pleased with the workmanship.
