Big Horn Patio Works is located in northern Wyoming, just outside of Sheridan, at the base of the Big Horn mountains and the Cloud Peak Wilderness area. The mountains provide a backdrop to our shop and a great place to relax at the end of the day in one of our chairs.
We are a family owned business, and we build every piece of outdoor furniture like we are building them for our own family. Meet John Paronto
I have always enjoyed building things, I think it was in my blood since my grandad was a carpenter, and my dad was always working on something around the house. My first memory of building anything substantial was helping dad build an outhouse on the family land! I then progressed to bookcases, coffee tables and, end tables through college to help pay my way through school. It then took on a whole new level when I decided to start make log beds. I wanted to experience the entire process from finding the trees, cutting them down, stripping them by hand, and then letting the creative process take over. After many years of making beds for family and friends, not to mention doll beds for my daughter, I decided it was time to create something new, so I started making Adirondack chairs. As word of mouth spread and more people kept asking me to build for them, it confirmed my belief that working with my hands and caring about the product was what I truly enjoy doing in my life.

The pieces are created by hand with each being unique in terms of how you want the piece to reflect your personality. We work diligently and meticulously when making your furniture, and no detail will be missed. When we make these pieces, my name is associated with it, and that is important to me. Each piece contains a commitment to quality. We use only 5/4″ western red cedar and stainless-steel hardware. We never just quickly make a piece, but rather we take the time that is necessary to create a piece that will be a lasting addition to your family and home. All of our products are backed by a limited five-year warranty.
